Resolution Audio Video has been in business for just about 16 years. For most of that time, Adam and his team has been designing and installing smart home systems, as well as home theater and High-End Hi-Fi systems in many of New York and Brooklyn’s Luxury homes. It’s just this year 2024 that he’s opened up their listening room to the public via appointment. Previous to this, most everything was sold to clients via their recommendation. Their customers have great trust in them and in their recommendations. Even so… they wanted to change their model a bit.
The listening environment Adam worked hard on creating is one that is LAID BACK! No pressure. Like being at a friend’s home. A new client recently said “Adam is the type of guy you want to have a beer with” Perfect! They also like to educate. When a client is investing in HiFi, they want them to be comfortable and able to make educated decisions. They don’t want to tell their customers what to purchase… They want them to reach those conclusions themselves.
In terms of equipment curation… simple. They only represent products which are designed and built and represented by people / brands that they trust and respect… that have history, longevity, and timeless design. Just as importantly, they’re into brands that make music. They are not interested in test equipment and measurements. They’re interested in equipment that tug at peoples heart strings.
